There will be tents providing various games and activities for participants to play, as well as tents showcasing sponsors and partners. There will be a bouncy castle on site. Decathlon will be coming to host outdoor activity style games. |

The annual Halifax Greek Festival is indoors and outdoors. The number of participants is largely dependent on the weather, and the number of participants are not there at one-time, it is the expected amount over the 4-day weekend. We have requested your presence on our two longer and higher-traffic days (Saturday + Sunday). This is a food festival, and we do offer non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages, kid's activities (bouncy castle), and dance performances as entertainment. We do have tables + chairs available for you and can rent a small tent if you do not have one to provide. |

2023 Marion Bridge 10km Road Race @ Cape Breton

The Marion Bridge 10km Road Race will begin at 9:00am at the Marion Bridge Community Hall (Recreation Center). The route will involve the runners starting at the hall then proceeding 5 km down Hillside Road where a water stop will be located (turnaround point), then they will turn around and follow the same route back to the hall where the finish line will be located. Following the race there will be a light lunch provided and awards presented. We would like to request that the St. John Ambulance vehicle and staff follow behind the last runner to ensure the safety of all the participants. |

The parade itself symbolizes the pulling of the Lord into our hearts, and it is done with great devotion to the accompaniment of chanting and dancing, called kirtan. This is the first day of the 2023 EPIC Canadian & Sole Sisters Canada Day Weekend. Like last year, I couldn't add the second day in your system... :-( ( I tried both Firefox and Google Chrome)
We have 3 races, plus kids over 2 days, Friday June 30th and Saturday July 1st Start and Finish is at the ball-field in Shubie Park June 30th - 7PM - 5K - Sole Sisters 5K I am guessing 450 ish in the first two, maybe 600 in the 5K and 2-300 for the kids runs. |
