Events

The Canada Day Celebration will take place from 2:00-4:30pm at the S & L Railway Station in Louisbourg. There will be an Opening Ceremony on stage along with children's activities, a free BBQ, cake & refreshments, etc. Live music will also take place from 2:30-4:30pm. In the case of rain we will hold this event at the Louisbourg Fire Hall on Main Street.

This event is being planned for Saturday, July 6th from 1:00-4:00pm (Rain Date: July 7th, 1:00-4:00pm) and will feature: DJ music, games, limbo challenge, sand castle building contest & much more!

This event will take place from 7:00-9:00pm with several antique vehicles taking part along with a live performance by the Rhythm Kats. 

The Teddy Bear Picnic, part of our Annual Rural Summer Festival, will include a performance by the Duncan Wells Band, bounce houses, face painting, balloon animals and various other children's activities! Children of all ages are welcome to attend. This event will take place at the stage area at Two Rivers Wildlife Park. If it should rain that day, this event will take place at the Marion Bridge Community Hall at the same time.

This event will feature Track & Field style activities for children from ages 5-12 years at Riverside School. 

This event will take place at Kennington Cove, second beach, from 1:00- 4:00pm and will feature DJ music and various children's games & activities throughout the afternoon. If it should rain that day, this event will be postponed to Sunday, July 14th at the same time.
